OUR STORY …
So far, Bishop Bob has received a call on the Vatican Hotline from Poppa. The Holy Father is upset about the loss of tradition in the Church. He directs Bishop Bob and the Chucktown Diocese to find out where the “good old days” have gone.
In keeping with the best traditions of solidarity, Bishop Bob contacts Deacon Guy and directs him to mobilize the Holy Trinity parish to find out what happened to the good old days.
In this episode, Deacon Guy begins researching the issue. His strategy is to tap into the wisdom and experience of the parishioners at Holy Trinity. Our readers meet Lisa, a long time, faithful member of the parish.
IT IS WRITTEN …
The Bible tells us to stay in the moment. We are molded and renewed day by day.
So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
2 Cor 4:16, NRSVCE
We ought not be concerned about yesterday or tomorrow. The Bible tells we are like a mist or a fog. We’re here for only a little while. We are like momentary people. (James 4:14)
The Catechism explains that God is in the moment. It says…
To God, all moments of time are present in their immediacy. When therefore he establishes his eternal plan of “predestination”
(cf CCC 600)
LIFE GOES ON …
Deacon Guy quickly learned that research doesn’t always go the way you planned it. Sometimes you get surprises. That’s what happened when he interviewed Lisa to collect data.
Undaunted, the determined Deacon continued working his way down the list of random members to interview. Stay with us to see what the good Deacon learns.
Where have the good old days gone?
COOL2B …
That’s our story and we’re sticking to it. It’s cool to be Catholic. COOL2B!
In Christ.

Love this and can’t wait to see where it goes.
