OUR STORY …
Herman never grew tired of listening to his buddies talk. When he was younger, he had been told that men couldn’t share what was really in their heart. Herman learned that wasn’t really true.
Over the years, Herman had heard a lot of men open their hearts and bare their souls to each other right there in the Chucktown Cathedral. Today it was Bob. Whenever Bob stopped by to visit with the old Bishop or Deacon Guy, the little mouse knew he could count on hearing a really great conversation!
IT IS WRITTEN …
We learn in the Bible that the words Jesus said were not really His own. He said they actually came from our Father who lived in Him. (John 14:10)
The Lord said that His words gave life (John 6:63). He even said that His words would last forever (Luke 22:33).
Words were important to Jesus. They really are important to men too!
LIFE GOES ON …
More and more, Herman was starting to realize that he had to learn to be very careful with his words. After all, he was the Cathedral mouse. But he also knew he wasn’t so good at doing that. He had dismissed it in the past because he wasn’t Jesus. And even now, he recognized that not all his words came from God. In fact, many of them didn’t even promote life.
Certainly Herman’s words would not last forever. But still, there was something quietly powerful about the words he had often overheard spoken by Godly men when they got together to spend time with each other honoring the Lord.
When men follow God, God is in their hearts. When they speak, they speak from their heart. And because of that, they sometimes sound like God. But still, they’re just ordinary men — with a great secret for the world to hear.
COOL2B …
That’s our story and we’re sticking to it. It’s cool to be Catholic. COOL2B!
In Christ.

Amen 🙏 my dear Brother in Christ, Amen 🙏 It is profound how sharing His words instilled in our hearts and our lives come to life in our HOLY MOMENTS shared, especially in His Eucharistic Presence, Thank You, Amen 🙏
