OUR STORY …
Herman woke up suddenly. He was having a bad dream. In his dream, he had met himself out on the street. It was as if he actually saw himself for the very first time — and he did not like what he had seen.
IT IS WRITTEN …
The Bible tells us that, if it is possible, live at peace with everyone (Rom 12:18).
Peace is good for you and your health. It’s also good for your community and the world. And God loves peace. Blessed are the peacemakers (Matt 5:9).
LIFE GOES ON …
Herman understood that he was not always easy to get along with. Sometimes he was tense and irritable. At other times, he was downright unfriendly. Yet, Herman had a certain charm too.
He had a good sense of humor. He was kind and generous. Somehow the little, orange mouse always thought those traits would carry him through life unscathed. It was not to be.
The day he met himself out on the street changed his life. It was one of the most important counters he could remember — even if it were only a dream.
COOL2B …
Herman’s situation is his situation. You’re different, of course. But still, you probably have a situation too. Before you leave us, take a few moments to think about what you might stop, start, or change doing in your life that could probably improve your situation.
It’s cool to be Catholic. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it.
In Christ.
