OUR STORY …
Herman couldn’t seem to get Sr. Lulu’s new song out of his mind. He kept thinking about the many souls throughout history that might have perished as a result of bad relationships.

What if some of these people would have tried to fix their relationships instead of bearing grudges and holding on to a spirit of unforgiveness? Would it have made any difference for them in eternity? What impact does love — or a lack of love — have on an eternal soul?
IN THE BIBLE …
The Bible tells us that it is not God’s will that any of us should perish (2 Pet 3:9). God does not send people to hell. If we go to hell, it is our own unrepentant sin and unholiness that will escort us there. There really is a hell, and yes! People really will populate it. That’s a sad thought indeed!
The good news is that God would much rather have us live with Him in heaven forever (John 3:16-17). We were made for heaven. We were made to be God’s friends (John 15:15).
An unknown theologian once said that nobody ever goes to heaven against his or her will. While none of us really understands God’s perfect judgment, it does seem that God will give us what we most desire. Be careful about the seeds that you are sowing now. Sow the seeds that will bring the harvest that you hope to see!
LIFE GOES ON …
Herman decided that today would be a good day for a reunion with family members and friends. Sure, he knew there was a pandemic going on. He knew about social distancing and masks too. But there was no way they could prevent him from loving other people.
He thought about some people he should call. He remembered some he should send a greeting card to also. And there were one or two he needed to visit in-person as well.
As Herman sat there thinking and praying, it occurred to him that a virus was not the most powerful force in the world. Love has that distinction! Remembering this was enough to convince the little, orange mouse that he needed to catch up on some long overdue love. And today was the perfect day to do that!
COOL2B …
That’s our story, folks, and we’re sticking to it. It’s cool to be Catholic. COOL2B!
In Christ.

Herman is a wise little mouse! How I enjoy accompanying him on his journey!
