The potter makes the pot. He doesn’t give up. If the pot is not right, he keeps working with it. Only a Master can make a masterpiece.


The Master knows when the pot is perfect. Only He knows when it is complete — when it is what it should be. The pot is never the judge of its beauty or it’s usefulness.

Life is like that too. We have ideas. We have goals. We have desires. All of that is okay, but if those things are not in line with the Master’s vision, He begins anew with us. He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it (Phil 1:6).
