Speaking Divinely

The Word of God, expressed in the words of men, is like human language, just as the Word of our eternal Father, when He took on the flesh of human weakness. (Based on CCC #101)

We do not understand God. We do not know His ways or His thoughts either (Isa 55:8-9). But God who created us knows us, and He understands us. He speaks our language and has even worn our flesh for our salvation.

Rather than debate whether God is right or wrong, wise men learn to listen when He speaks and obey what He commands. God is God, and we are not (Deut 10:17).
