Another Way?

FOCAL VERSE …

THE POINT …

Think Jesus! He is the Way and the Truth and the Life (Jn 14:6).

THE CATECHISM …

The Word of God, which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, is set forth and displays its power in a most wonderful way in the writings of the New Testament which hand on the ultimate truth of God’s Revelation. Their central object is Jesus Christ, God’s incarnate Son: his acts, teachings, Passion and glorification, and his Church’s beginnings under the Spirit’s guidance. (CCC# 124)

PRACTICAL APPLICATION …

Most people today seem to be searching for “another way.” As believers, we should do what Mary did. We should choose the better way which means that we should put our trust in Jesus.

Let’s be clear — that’s not always easy. One thing you will want to do is inventory your life. People who are closest to Jesus always seem to have a servant’s heart. Begin the journey by committing to be a servant to other.

If you’re still having trouble actually letting go and giving your life over to the Lord, ask Him for His help (Mt 7:7)! Our Lady will intercede for you, and the Holy Spirit will be there to guide you.

Give it a try!

DISCIPLESHIP TIME …

Based on the “Daily Readings” and the cartoon above:

  • What should I start doing that I’m not doing right now?
  • What should I stop doing that I am doing now?
  • What should I change doing (continue doing, but do differently)?

In Christ.
